A SMALL AD THAT BROUGHT GOOD RESULTS
Andrew S. Kirsch of Nicktown inserted a small ad in the Mountaineer-Herald offering a lot of fine apples for sale. A few days later he called and ordered the ad discontinued, stating that he had disposed of all the apples he could spare at this time. Advertising in the paper with the circulation always brings good results.

'SQUIRE KIRSCH ON THE TIMES
Old friend Andrew S. Kirsch, writing from Barr township, says among other things: I guess everything over the election is how settled down all but license court. the miners situation looks like plenty of strife this year, but a wee little production by all of us would look better to me than a cussed lot of strife to the bitter end. While we do not have bolshevism in our country, yet business is so tied, tangled, investigated, secret serviced, taxed, inspected, muddled and muffled that it is extremely hard to do business now, and get it going, and without business we must have bolshevism.
