Meridian City parks equip leaf collection bins for local residents

MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — According to a Facebook post, leaf collection bins are now in place at several Meridian City parks for use by Meridian residents.

Meridian Parks and Recreations notes these are for leaves only, so no branches, pumpkins, garden plants, etc.

Leaves must be loose or in paper leaf bags. No plastic bags or cardboard boxes are allowed.

Leaf drop bins can be found in the following parks: Centennial, Fuller, Gordon Harris, Heroes, Kleiner, Renaissance, Settlers, Storey and Tully.
